ABOUT US

Choo Choo Fest is an annual fundraiser to restore and maintain the historic Depot and caboose in Coupland, Texas.  The Depot and caboose are owned by the Coupland Civic Organization (CCO), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and Choo Choo Fest is co-sponsored by the CCO and the City of Coupland.

On Sunday, October 14, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.,  Choo Choo Fest will be held inside and on the grounds of the landmark St. Peter’s Church of Coupland.  We will once again be serving a great barbecue dinner with all the trimmings.  The meal will be provided  by Abbey Road and her expert staff at the famous Old Coupland Inn. The meal will cost $12.

As befitting Choo Choo Fest, a real live choo choo, the KIDDIE EXPRESS TRAIN, will run from noon until 2 p.m.  Kids and their families will be able to ride free on this picturesque trackless train through downtown Coupland.  The train is complete with a smokestack, bell and whistle, and driver dressed as an engineer.

As always, Choo Choo Fest will feature a fabulous silent auction with antiques, arts and crafts, artwork, collectibles, décor items, toys, services, and much more. There will also be one of our famous Coupland bake sales.  A new selection of the colorful Coupland Caboose End of the Line T-Shirts will be for sale.
